Santorini 'Familia' is the first new wine released by Hatzidakis since Haridimos' daughter Stella took over. She and assistant winemaker Stella Papadimitriou are setting out to continue Haridimos' legacy, sticking with his pioneering approach. For long-time fans of Hatzidakis, this wine is a triumph. It has all the quality and character we've come to expect and is immediately one of the best Assyrtikos being made on the island. Tense, powerful and with great ageing potential, it's another classic in the making.
